- Are there travel fees?
- Lodging for both rehearsal night & reception will need to be provided or reimbursed if the venue is more than 60 min outside Grand Rapids. Safety is important, after supporting you & yours for 14-16 hours, it’s just not safe to drive home over that kind of distance. But no mileage!
- Do you bring an assistant?
- When the final guest count is over 150 OR the ceremony & reception are in separate locations, an assistant is non-negotiable to ensure service meets standards. This is additional to the package, at an hourly cost.
- When the final guest count is below 150, an assistant may be needed for detailed events. Cost will be negotiable.
- Will you help find vendors?
- Yes! Up to 3 quotes for each service, in a good-better-best ranking.
- Is there a minimum budget to work together?
- No – however the average client has a budget of $80k-$100k.
A modest wedding in Grand Rapids for 150 guests will run about $55k – nice, but not over the top. For your area, do some research (other than the knot, they are misinformed!)

- Yes! Without having the dollars conversation first, it’s hard to know how to allocate the biggest desires to create the day of your dreams.
- Will you assemble & mail our invitations?
- But of course! The assembly is so fun & I know the perfect Post Offices to hit for the best service to keep them looking fabulous. (Postage is not included in package price.)
- Do you offer rehearsal dinner and next-day brunch planning services as well?
- For sure! Multi-day events are the norm these days, however the base price covers the ceremony & reception, other events are separate to each package. Additional events will add additional planning fees.
- What does the booking process look like?
- After our initial conversation, a contract is sent for review and upon your approval, with a 25% deposit – we get right to planning. Remaining balance is made in 25% payments at 6 months, 90 days & 30 days.
